Asma Ishaq, a veteran of the skin care product and nutritional supplements markets, earned her Bachelor of Arts from the University of California, Berkeley, and completed graduate work at Princeton University. Later Asma Ishaq studied at Rice University and graduated with a Master of Business Administration in Finance and Marketing. Early in her career, she worked at BlackRock, Inc., a New York asset management firm, and at Give Something Back, a company that used its growth and profits to benefit the surrounding community. Having grown up in an environment that emphasized natural health and fitness, Asma Ishaq felt drawn to these industries and accepted a position as the Executive Vice President of BioCell Technology. In this position, she oversaw production development while implementing marketing and branding strategies that excited potential customers and highlighted the natural ingredients in the company’s nutraceuticals.
In 2009, Asma Ishaq cofounded Jusuru International; she now serves as the company’s President. Drawing on former experience, she has developed the company into a natural health leader, recognized for its strong business ethic and high-quality products. She maintains a strong dedication to giving back to the community and designates a portion of all profits to help charitable causes. Recently, she and her company became deeply involved with earthquake relief efforts in Haiti.
